Live Oak Carvings is owned and operated by Mark Baker in Central Florida. I specialize in hand carved live oak spoons from locally sourced lumber. Live oak is a beautiful hardwood that has a unique grain structure. Since I work with smaller cuts of logs that can contain lots of knots and figuring, every piece has unique grain and coloring, which adds to the beauty of the spoons. I work the simple styling of the spoons into the complexities of the grains to create cooking and eating utensils that look great in your kitchen, great utility, and will last a lifetime.

All spoons are finished in food grade tung oil or walnut oil.
